МОСКВА ДЛЯ ВАС! - "MOSCOW FOR YOU!"
A 47 minute film for learners, devised by John Langran, shot and produced in Moscow in 1995 by Garri Dombrovsky. This film runs parallel to and supplements Ruslan 1 and Ruslan 2. Booklet with full text and vocabularies. Topics include: Moscow sights, introductions, finding the way, hotels, using the telephone, meeting people, a meal in a restaurant, the theatre, the metro, taking a taxi, buying a train ticket, buying souvenirs, saying goodbye.
The DVD has a menu dividing the film into 25 sections by topic for easy access.
Moscow has changed a lot since 1995 and there is perhaps some nostalgia here. The dialogues though are not outdated and are excellent aditional material for A1 and A2 learners.
"A gloriously open-ended plot... I enjoy teaching with it because of the number of levels and various ways that it allows itself to be adapted." - Colin Bearne.
